I'm not sure why I've taken this long to begin assuming ownership of our site, but hopefully I'll be braver from here on out.  
 
Fanfic is a terrible addiction - I've virtually stopped reading printed media and live primarily for the latest updates of my favorite WIPs.  This is a little difficult to explain to my family & friends who are used to me devouring books like potato chips, but they just have to deal. 

It actually wasn't until I read Poppy Z Brite's wonderful book Plastic Jesus  that I realized that other people dreamed of RPS.  My beloved and I have been making up our own RPS since approximately 1968, beginning with TV (Napoleon/Illya), favorite bands (John/Paul, Paul Revere/Mark Lindsey,  and yes, Davey/Peter), and of course mumamumamovie stars (Newman/Redford - circa Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid).   Of course these days it's Frerard and Ryden. We've never taken the action step of writing, but hopefully that will change soon.   Oops, gotta run.
